When I watched “Chocolat” (film) for the first time, I realized that making chocolate desserts has something extraordinarily magical. Then I was very impressed by the fascinating mâitre chocolatier because I thought she was a fantastic “sorceress” able to prepare sensational sweets.
Like her, I’ve managed to create a miraculous “potion” with an intense flavor and a spicy fragrance that it’s able to improve a worst mood! I’m talking about hot chocolate! Try it adding your favorite spices , such as cinnamon or vanilla and you will create a tasty drink !!!
Serves: 2
- 20 grams bitter cocoa
- 30 grams dark chocolate with 50% cocoa
- 40 grams brown sugar
- 15 grams cornstarch
- A pinch of chili powder
- 250 ml fresh milk
To decorate:
- Whipped cream to taste
- Cinnamon powder to taste
- Dark chocolate flakes
Method
Chop the chocolate finely and set aside. Sift the starch and the cocoa, so place them in a saucepan. Add the sugar and the pepper.Pour the milk a little at a time, stirring constantly, until you create a smooth mixture and without lumps.Cook over medium heat and when it begins to thicken, add the chopped dark chocolate.
Stir until it has completely melted. At this point pour into the appropriate cups and decorate as you want.
